Our Philosophy
At Sarina M. Renaldi & Associates, Inc., we believe that every child has the potential to learn and grow, regardless of their abilities or challenges. Nothing should stand in the way of their success! The more insight they have into understanding how they
learn best, the more self-confidence they gain, and they can achieve their full potential. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, inclusive environment for children and adolescents to develop their deficit skills, build a strong work ethic, become independent learners, and discover a love and enjoyment of learning.
Our Approach
We take a collaborative and evidence-based approach to special education, working closely with families and educators to develop individualized plans that are tailored to each child's unique needs and strengths. We use a variety of strategies and techniques to support learning and promote positive behavior, and we are constantly evaluating and adjusting our methods to ensure that we are providing the most effective support possible.
Our Programs
We specialize in working with students with learning
disabilities including language processing/communication disorders, dyslexia, written language, math, ADD/ADHD, executive functioning, nonverbal learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, gifted and twice exceptional.
We offer a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of our students, including providing diagnostic evaluations, individualized remediation, general subject area tutoring, enrichment, standardized test prep, advocacy, and educational consultation. Our programs are designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing us to meet the changing needs of each child as they grow and develop.

Sarina M. Renaldi MA, MST
Sarina holds a Master of Science in Teaching degree from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University. She has been in private practice in Hinsdale for 22+ years and has served many children and families in the western suburbs. She has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents with various learning challenges. She is extremely knowledgeable with interpreting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and developing individualized remediation plans to develop and improve deficit learning areas. She loves to connect with each student and make the learning experience fun! She believes in setting the bar high for her students and providing them the necessary support along the way as they achieve their potential and become independent learners. She is skilled in working with students with all types of learning challenges, including dyslexia, receptive/expressive language processing, written language, math, ADHD, executive functioning, gifted/enrichment, autism spectrum, nonverbal learning disabilities, and general academic subject area tutoring.
Megan Ward, MS, CCC-SLP
Megan is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about building strong relationships with her clients and their families while collaborating to support her clients' growth. Megan earned her Master of Science degree in Speech, Language and Learning at Northwestern University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University. Megan has gained extensive experience working with children of all ages with a variety of abilities and disorders. Her clinical interests include receptive and expressive language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, speech sound disorders, and neurodiversity affirming pragmatic skills.
