Sarina Renaldi & Associates provides a specialized and personalized approach to each individual's needs and goals. Sarina Renaldi, MA, MST has been in private practice in Hinsdale for over twenty years and has proudly and successfully served many children and adolescents throughout their academic years.
Sarina M. Renaldi & Associates, Inc. can help with a range of academic struggles due to learning disabilities such as dyslexia, language processing disorders, ADD/ADHD, executive functioning, written language, math, gifted, twice-exceptional, autism spectrum disorder, and non-verbal learning disability. We work with children and adolescents in kindergarten through high school, in all subject areas, and help families and students to understand their learning strengths and weaknesses so they can become successful, independent learners who enjoy the learning process. We believe that knowledge is power, and nothing should stand in the way of a student's success.
All of Sarina M. Renaldi & Associates, Inc.'s staff members have advanced degrees in special education or a related field, as well as extensive experience working with individuals with a wide range of learning challenges.
Sarina M. Renaldi MA, MST
Sarina holds a Master of Science in Teaching degree from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Communications Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University. She has been in private practice in Hinsdale for 20+ years and has served many children and families in the western suburbs. She has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents with various learning challenges. She is extremely knowledgeable with interpreting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and developing individualized remediation plans to develop and improve deficit learning areas. She loves to connect with each student and make the learning experience fun! She believes in setting the bar high for her students and providing them the necessary support along the way as they achieve their potential and become independent learners. She is skilled in working with students with all types of learning challenges, including dyslexia, receptive/expressive language processing, written language, math, ADHD, executive functioning, gifted/enrichment, autism spectrum, nonverbal learning disabilities, and general academic subject area tutoring.
Colleen Kindelin Steele, DODC
Dr. Colleen Steele’s expertise in individual, group, and organizational change is grounded in 20+ years of experience in the education and non-profit arenas. She earned her master’s degree at Northwestern University in Clinical Learning Disabilities and her doctorate at Bowling Green State University in Organizational Development and Change. She is a certified coach who helps people create meaningful change in their lives, and she specializes in supporting adolescents and adults with ADHD. Her approach is rooted in building trusting relationships with clients and helping to activate their internal motivation and creativity. Dr. Steele supports clients in strengthening their executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, goal setting, task activation, time management, and procrastination management. She is skilled in supporting individuals who experience the anxiety, perfectionism, and feelings of shame that can often accompany ADHD, particularly in individuals who are gifted/highly intelligent. As a licensed learning and behavior specialist, she is also experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Dr. Steele utilizes a strengths-based approach to help clients experience sustainable change and achieve their goals in school, business, and life.
Megan Ward, MS, CCC-SLP
Megan is a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about building strong relationships with her clients and their families while collaborating to support her clients' growth. Megan earned her Master of Science degree in Speech, Language and Learning at Northwestern University. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University. Megan has gained extensive experience working with children of all ages with a variety of abilities and disorders. Her clinical interests include receptive and expressive language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, speech sound disorders, and neurodiversity affirming pragmatic skills.
